"I woke up and found myself in the mortuary after my wife poisoned me - Man reveals

Josiah Kamau has narrated how he escaped death after his wife poisoned him to have his land and sell it. Josiah while speaking to Afrimax Africa said that he used to work as a chef and was married.

The relationship with his wife was not perfect but when he got his share of land from his father she started acting good. She even asked him to make her the next of kin in his land documents which he did.

They sold part of the land and bought a house near the woman's home but her behavior changed afterwards.

He started receiving information that she was bringing different men to the house when he was away and this affected their relationship.

At one time she disappeared for three days and when she returned she had some items. She took out some packed food she was carrying and gave it to him and because he was used to her bringing food he ate.

However, when he had eaten half of it his stomach started to hurt. He went to the bedroom and lay on the bed as he struggled with the pain.

A neighbor who was passing by the house heard his cry and called for help as the wife had already taken the children and freed.

After arriving at the hospital the doctor pronounced him dead and he was taken to the mortuary. After about two days he woke from a coma only to find a dead body lying next to him. The doctors examined him and put him on treatment for three weeks after which he was released.

After arriving at his home he found people preparing for his funeral and they were surprised to see him walking. Some thought he was a ghost. He explained to them what had happened and concluded that his wife had planned his death to have his piece of land. He found out that she had already sold the land and all his other property and he now lives with his mother.
