JUST IN: Man kills' Elder brother after catching him in bed with younger sister

A 31-year-old man shot and killed his older brother after catching him in a sexual encounter with their younger sibling.

When Benard Njere saw his stepsister, 17, engaging in sexual activity with Samuel Irungu, he confronted Irungu and promptly shot and killed him. The people of Chema hamlet in Baricho, Kirinyaga county, are afraid as a result of this strange occurrence.

The deceased, who had an undisclosed relationship with the 17-year-old, witnessed the incident, became enraged, and then fell on his brother, killing both of them in the ensuing fight.

Their father called the police to report that his eldest son had been struck multiple times with a blunt object and had died while being treated.

The oldest son allegedly died while receiving treatment at the Karatina Sub-County hospital after being struck with a hard instrument multiple times to the head, face, and back. The incident was reported to the authorities by their father.



When detectives arrived at the house, they learned that the step-sister, who had recently given birth to a stillborn child in March, had been pregnant at some point in the previous year.

The murder suspect who ran from the scene is still being sought so that charges can be brought against him.
