Lady who died in a nasty accident was to report to her new job

On Sunday, Kenyans were treated to a piece of shocking news after it emerged that a lady had died after a vehicle she was driving in was involved in a road accident.

According to sources, Joan Sikuku, a young woman full of life, had just secured a new job before meeting her death in a grisly accident.

The matatu she was travelling in rammed into a stationary cane trailer along Eldoret-Webuye Highway on Sunday, January 15.

Joan was to report to her new workplace on Monday, January 16.

Many across the internet have expressed their shock and deepest condolences to her entire family during these trying times.

Sadly, the number of shocking road accidents along some major roads has increased to a worrying trend with questions raised as to what could be happening in society of late.

A huge number of these accidents have occurred as a result of some rogue drivers who were either overspeeding or drunk driving.

Drivers have widely been advised to observe the set road rules and guidelines to prevent such horrible collisions that have always ended up in tears.
