Micheal Blackson Apologizes To Ghanaians Over,Ghana Only Have 4 Artistes Comment

Ghanaian-American comedian and actor, Michael Blackson has rendered an apology to Ghanaians following a comment he made in an interview.

The comedian in an interview revealed that Nigeria has all relevant artistes, but Ghana has only four, which caused a stir on social media.

In the interview, Blackson mentioned Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, and Black Sherif as the only Ghanaian artists he knows and praised them.

According to Blackson, Nigeria has more globally recognised superstars than Ghana. In the video, he mentions a slew of Nigerian superstars, including Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid, and Tiwa Savage.

“Nigeria has all the artistes in Africa It’s like the New York of African music. I can only count 4 artistes in the whole of Ghana, Shatta Wale, Stone bwoy, Sarkodie & Blacksherif” This is why I’m trying to give them a 5th star” – he said in the interview.

However, on late Thursday, March 2, 2023, Michael Blackson was seen in a video paying a visit to Shatta Wale in his studio.

Okay During his hangout with the reggae dancehall musician, the comedian was questioned by Shatta Wale as to why he made such utterances claiming “there are only four artistes in Ghana”.

When asked if he knew; Camidoh, King Promise, KiDi, Kuame Eugene, Samini, Jupitar, Daddy Lumba, Amakye Dede, Kojo Antwi.

Michael Blackson responded by laughing loudly and saying, “OK, I apologise… Ghana has 3000 more”.
