My husband slept with his student on our matrimonial bed, I went to school and caused a scandal

Joyce Wanganui of Gatundu has told how her teacher's husband slept with a student on their wedding bed, prompting Joyce to go to the school and beat the girl, which in turn angered her husband.

Joyce claims that she met her future husband at her sister's house while she was visiting her sister during his time at college to pursue his teaching career. She moved in with him when he finished his education and began working at a certain secondary institution.

They have three healthy children and life is good. Once, when her husband took his class on a field trip, he returned home late, and one of the students, whose family lived far away, spent the night at their house.
She states that the following day was a Sunday and that she got up, made some tea, and left her husband and the student sleeping while she went to church.

When she returned home, she discovered her husband's underwear on the bed, confirming her worst suspicions that he had slept with the student who had arrived in the evening but was unable to answer her questions.
She claims that the following day, she went to school and beat that student, which infuriated her husband to the point that he was fired from his job; as a result, she decided to end the marriage, leave her children with her mother, and relocate to Saudi Arabia, where she now works and provides for her children's education.
