Nana Acheampong Honoured National Chief Imam

Highlife legend Nana Acheampong, also known as Champion lover boy has presented a citation and a medal to the National Chief Imam Alhaji Sheikh Usman Sharubutu.

Nana Acheampong has explained that he decided to honor the National Chief Imam because he is one of the respected personalities in Ghana whose life has become a source of inspiration to his music career.

The highlife legend, who is the father of Ghana’s award-winning female artiste, Gyakie, has announced that he will be celebrating his 30 years anniversary in the Ghana music industry soon.

At the residence of the National Chief Imam at Fadama, in the Greater Accra Region, the family received the artiste warmly and showed appreciation to him for the visit.

The highlife legend also thanked the family for receiving him with happiness and for the words of encouragement by Alhaji Sheikh Usman Sharubutu.
