Signs of blood cancer in the early stages that should not be ignored

Blood cancer, sometimes known as leukaemia, is a form of cancer that attacks the body's blood-forming tissues, including the bone marrow and the red blood cells.

Blood cancer patients are at increased risk for developing life-threatening complications, making it critical that they receive treatment as soon as possible.

According to an article written by Mayo Clinic, we'll take a look at some of the warning symptoms of blood cancer that you shouldn't brush off or disregard.

1. Irregular or persistent shivering or fever in the absence of an identifiable medical cause.

2. Swelling, secondly Lymph nodes in the neck, underarms, and even the groin. It's a telltale indicator of blood cancer, which also impacts the lymphatic system.

3. prone to bleeding or bruising easily. If you notice that you are bruising easily, a blood cancer screening can be the best next step.

4. Little red dots on the skin for no apparent reason may indicate blood cancer. Petechiae is the medical term for the red dots.

5. Nighttime sweating, or nighttime sweating in general. This is also known as night sweats and can be an indicator of more serious health problems, such as cancer of the blood.
