The herbalist lured the lady to his house and cut off her head, hands and legs for rituals - Police

A couple, Taiwo Ajalorun and Salawa Ajalorun, and six others have been arrested by men of Ogun State Police Command for allegedly selling human parts. According to Punch Newspaper, the suspects were arrested after they killed a lady and dismembered her body parts a few days ago.

While parading the suspects yesterday, the spokesman of the Ogun State Police Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi narrated that the suspects had previously killed three people before they were finally arrested. Oyeyemi said they were arrested for kidnapping, killing and dismembering of a 26-year-old mother of two, Oyindamola Adeyemi.

According to the police spokesman, a friend of Adeyemi informed the police that she had not returned to her apartment since morning and an effort to reach her through her phone proved abortive. A team of police officers from the Obalande division found the body of the deceased a day later.
The body was taken to a mortuary and the relatives of the deceased were invited to identify the body. Investigations by the police lead to the arrest of a herbalist identified as Taiwo Olutufese who had the mobile phone of the deceased. Subsequently, the remaining five people who played a role in killing the lady were arrested.

"The herbalist with the support of his friend lured the deceased to his house and as soon as she entered, she was pinned down by both of them and strangled to death. After killing her, they cut off the head, legs and two hands which they sold to their standby buyers to be used for money-making rituals." Oyeyemi added.
