When the King calls, you must deliver- Cina Soul salute Sarkodie

Ghanaian R&B songstress Christie Quincyna Quarcoopome, known in showbiz as Cina Soul, has recounted how thrilled she received a request to be on Sarkodie’s latest album, ‘JAMZ’.

The songwriter described her love for Ghana’s rap landlord with elation as she recalled her first encounter with him, which was made possible by a schoolmate who was related to the super star. “The first time I met Sarkodie, I was in secondary school, and he came to perform at my school, Aburi Girls; his little cousin was in that school as well, and she knew I loved him; I was literally the only artist who got the opportunity to go backstage to meet Sarkodie and shake his hand.” she reminisced in an interview on an Accra-based 24 hour digital channel segment.

“When the King calls, you have to deliver, and you have to deliver as soon as possible.” Cina stated in an attempt to express her dedication and enthusiasm attached to working on the feature with King Sark and added further that Sarkodie received her verse in less than 24 hours after she received the song. “If he sent the song today, he probably got it by evening. That’s how fast I wanted to work for the King.” she emphasized.

Cina Soul is a featured artist on Sarkodie’s JAMZ album; with the Landlord’s solid bars fused with Cina’s melodic voice, they brought forth ‘Over Me’ which is currently gaining an impressive number of streams on all music streaming platforms.
