“According to Doctors These Are the Reasons for Kidney Failure in Ghana” - A Plus Lamented

Kwame Asare Obeng (A Plus) is a hip life artist with a keen interest in politics and social issues. He has quite a number of hit tunes to his name such as Agye gon, Two paddies, Zilo, Mansa, Asem kese, Igwe, among many others.

Kwame A Plus is being concerned about the high increase rate of kidney failure in Ghana.

He wrote yesterday April 17th, 2022 in his official Facebook page that;

"Today I asked a doctor friend why many people are suffering kidney failure in Ghana. His answer was simple; Kwame, if hypertension does not lead to stroke, it can lead kidney failure. Most people don't undergo routine checks to know if they are hypertensive or not.”

“Secondly, the concoction people take is what hurts their organs - how can you just take any tree back or herbs, pour alcohol on it and drink it as bitters without knowing exactly what you have produced, what the formation reactions turn the substance into immediately and after a certain period and its effects on your body organs when consumed.”

He added; “Abibidro is good, but the dosage must be scientifically approved. Don't just drink a cap full of some mixed boiled herbs everyday. You may be putting pressure on your organs. It will harm you.”

One may ask, what at All Is the Main Cause of Kidney Failure?

According to Dr. Asare, the Chief Executive of Ghana Health Service, Chronic kidney disease is commonly caused by diabetes and high blood pressure, which are responsible for up to two-thirds of the kidney failure cases.

A recent report revealed that Kidney failure tops all the 10-top diseases killing Ghanaians in recent times.

Finally, let’s all begin to go back to our old organic foods and keep our kidneys safe and live long.
Kidney once failed cannot be treated. It is also extremely difficult and expensive to get a donated human kidney to replace yours, a practice called kidney transplant.

May Jehovah God be with us and take care of what we eat this festive season.
