“From Sleeping On the Streets of 37 Bus Stop to Becoming a Graduate of University of Ghana”-The Story of Obed Ajorya Rich-Bell

Most young men who have difficult backgrounds often end up on the streets to hustle. Unfortunately for some of these young men who don’t meet their destiny helpers, they end up joining bad companies.

The majority of street boys become armed robbers, weed smokers, pimps and all kinds of things society frowns upon.

This was not the case with Obed Ajorya Mohammed Taufik. He ended up on the streets of Ashaiman at the young age of 13 and joined bad boys who did all kinds of things. His stubborn nature made it difficult for his late mother to advise him.

Obed became the “black sheep” of his family and since he had no one to accommodate him, the streets became his new abode.

But as fate would have it, things started to change for the young man who made it a point to change his life by going back to school.

He attended West Africa Senior High and furthered to Legon University. Today, Obed Ajorya is a proud graduate with a CGPA of 3.3 from the University.

He decided to advise the young boys and girls on the streets to never give up but fight for their future and at the right time, things would turn around.
