Good News for All Colleges of Education Students as CETAG Suspends Indefinite Strike

The leadership of the “Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana” (CETAG) has suspended its indefinite strike action against Government.

The Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) has directed its members in all forty-six (46) public Colleges of Education to go back to the classroom today, January 25, 2022.

Despite this, the CETAG says it is not pleased with the disparate payment of arrears of the 2017-2020 Conditions of Service.

Members of CETAG began their strike in all 46 Public Colleges of Education last Thursday over claims that the Government had failed to implement the 2017-2020 conditions of service, as agreed in a Memorandum of Understanding signed between CETAG and the Government.
They want the Government to pay their interim premiums, book and research allowances.
