Hon. Ken Agyapong Buys Asamoah Gyan’s ‘LeGyandary’ Book for Gh100,000

Honourable Ken Agyapong, politician and business tycoon, Offered an Exorbitant Cost for Asamoah Gyan’s LeGyandary Book at His Book Launching.

The ‘LeGyandary’, a book that details the life of Ghana’s all-time top scorer, Asamoah Gyan was launched on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

The colourful programme saw in attendance dignitaries in Government such as President Nana Akufo Addo and Hon. Kennedy Agyapong. They were there to support the first Ghanaian footballer Asamoah Gyan including football greats like El Hadji Diouf to document his life in a book.

The book titled ‘LeGyandary’ takes readers through the illustrious journey of Gyan’s early days and his rise to fame as arguably Ghana’s greatest-ever striker.

Honourable Kennedy Agyapong the Assin Central Member of Parliament, was the second bidder in the night.

The MP raised a whopping sum of GHC 100,000.00 to buy the book after the first bidder which is the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo. Mr. President had the book for free after he officially launched the book to pave way for bidders.
