I Charge Ghc 3000 To Post About a Musician’s Song On Tiktok- Asantewaa

Asantewaa has come forward to provide her rate card for promoting songs amid the backlash she is now experiencing on social media for cynically implying that Ghanaian musicians who release songs in recent years will struggle to get their songs go viral without TikTokers.

The rate disclosure was revealed by the well-known Ghanaian TikToker, a professionally trained nurse, through her manager during a recent conversation with Abeiku Santana.

The manager of Asantewaa said during an interview for Okay FM’s drivetime show that regardless of the genre of music they are asked to work on, they charge GHC3000.

He was quick to point out that, regardless of the artist, there are occasions when they do not charge anything to distribute the music they are contacted with on any of their multiple social media channels.

According to Cassious, most of the time they think carefully about a number of factors before deciding to charge an artist for their work or whether to perform it for free.
