“I Love My Father’s Songs but I’m A Committed Fan of Daddy Lumba” – Nana Acheampong’s Daughter Discloses

Charles Kwadwo Fosu is a Ghanaian singer-songwriter and musician. He’s known in the music industry as Daddy Lumba (DL). He is widely viewed as the greatest Ghanaian musician ever lived.

In an interview with DJ Reuben on “Luv FM”, musician Sheila Acheampong, daughter of Ghanaian Highlife Legend, Nana Acheampong, revealed how she is a committed fan to the legend Daddy Lumba even though she loves her father’s songs as well.

She said; “I love my father’s songs but then I’m a committed fan of Daddy Lumba, I really love his songs.”

She added that, she listened to legends like Daddy Lumba, Amakye Dede, Kojo Antwi and Nana Acheampong because her mother exposed her to old school music.

However, she confidently disclosed; “My mum really liked Daddy Lumba’s songs a hundred percent. So it robbed off on my sister and me,” she said. “My mother could choose Daddy Lumba over Nana Acheampong anytime”.

Sheila is currently out with her latest single, “Like That” featured rapper Strongman.
