I Will Pay Every Ghanaian Child 200GH Per Month If I Become President of Ghana – Dr. Kofi Akpaloo

Percival Kofi Akpaloo is a Ghanaian politician. He is the leader of the Liberal Party (LPG) of Ghana. He was also the party's presidential candidate for the 2020 Ghanaian general election.

Dr. Kofi Akpaloo has promised that every child in Ghana will receive a monthly salary of 200 Ghana Cedis every month of he becomes president.

According to him, LPG winning the 2024 elections will ensure the massive transformation of the economy hence his party will initiate a social intervention policy dubbed ‘Child Benefit’ to meet the needs of Ghanaian children if given the chance to become president in Ghana.

Speaking in an interview with Fiifii Prat on Kingdom FM on Thursday, 28th April 2022, Dr. Akpaloo said that as a Chattered Certified Accountant, it is simple to pay every child 200 cedis per month when he comes to power.

He disclosed; “The Party intends to pay GH¢200.00 monthly stipend to every Ghanaian child from age one to 18, while twins will receive GH¢300.”

He explained that, the currency for Ghana is the cedi, and the cedi and its regulation is controlled by the government. So why should the cedi be scare for the Government? He asked. Whosoever says we can’t pay children the said amount is not thinking deep.

Dr. Kofi Akpaloo continued that, if he pays every child, the parents will get enough money from the children to purchase stuffs they need.

“This will enable businesses to boom and ensure that enough money is circulated through the economy. As blood is the backbone of humans to live, so is enough cash circulation the backbone of every economy.” He added.
