Important Notice to Those Who Have Not Yet Re-registered their SIM Cards

Re-registration of SIM cards started on 1st of October, 2021 which was supposed to end on 31st of March, 2022, but National Communication Authority (NCA) extended the end time to July 31st, 2022, all because many Ghanaians were not having their Ghana cards on them to do the re-registration. Others too miss place their Ghana cards during the re-registration.

First, Ghanaians were rushing the Tele-Communication Networks (TCN) on the re-registration and begging National Communication Authority (NCA) to extend the time for them to be able to re-register their SIM Cards and by God grace, National Communication Authority did so.

But the Tele-Communication Networks (TCN) have now noticed that many customers have relaxed on the re-registration because they knew that National Communication Authority (NCA) will by all means extend the time again for them when the re-registration ends on July 31st, 2022 for them to be able to re-register their SIM Cards.

National Communication Authority is giving warning to Ghanaians who have not re-registered their SIM cards and thinking of another extended time on the re-registration exercise.

According to them, they will “suspend all SIM cards” which have not go through re-registration exercise at the end of July 31st, 2022.

You can only re-suspend your Sim Cards by visiting the Tele-Communication Networks Offices for biometric registration.
