Introduce Tax On Cash outs to Stop Ghanaians from Withdrawing- Top CEO Advices President Nana Addo

The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunication, Dr. Kenneth Ashigbey, has finally advised the President to instantly do something to disincentive Ghanaians from withdrawing their saved money in their electronic wallet.

Speaking on the Newsfile on JoyNews, his statement emphatically based on data that most Ghanaians are withdrawing all their monies from their mobile money wallet. As such, he advised Nana Addo and his Government to do something like taxing cash outs.

According to him, this policy will indirectly act as a disincentive for Ghanaians from withdrawing money from their mobile money accounts. He further argued that this measure will go a long way in simply achieving the cashless system which the NPP Government envisaged.

This suggestion from the CEO of the Chamber of telecommunications made Ghanaians blast his personality on social media. Some Ghanaians opined that the CEO was being partisan and others also stated boldly that his suggestion was very unnecessary.

On the social media, some people believe that most of these fraudsters are MTN workers or were once MTN workers, otherwise who else could these fraudsters be, knowing so much about MTN digital system?\
