Just in: Church Elder Loses GHS 800k to Betting -TV3 Confirms

Just this afternoon, TV3 network shared a post on their Facebook page which talks about a church elder who have lost his GHS 800K to betting. This has got a lot of people talking about it.

He told Giovani on the 3FM Drive that he continued to place large sums of money on bets after his first win and went ahead to win up to Ghc80k on his third attempt. That was when he lost his sanity to betting.

According to the church elder, “a friend introduced him to betting and his first stake was GHS5000. He had a profit of GHS3900. The second time, he placed a bet of GHS3000 and won GHS5000. On the third time, he placed a bet of GHS20,000 and won GHS80,000. He then asked God, where has this been and he had been suffering. That day the betting spirit sank deep into his blood.
Unfortunately, he lost the bet on the fourth try,” confirmed by TV3.

It is always preached that, Almighty God does not like betting but it is quite unfortunate for a church elder to venture into that act.
