Samuel Eto’o Reveals Least Racist Country in Europe

Racism is a major problem for football across Europe. Racism often takes the form of members of the crowd making monkey noises at black players on the pitch. Majority of African players are victims of this bad treatment in Europe. This is the horrific racism experienced by black players across Europe.

Former Chelsea, Inter Milan and Barcelona striker, Samuel Eto’o, has insisted that Italy is the least racist country in Europe.

However, in an interview with La Repubblica, Eto’o, who is currently the president of the Cameroon Football Association reveals;

“I tell you that Italy is the less racist country in Europe.”

“It’s not like they never did the monkey cry in stadiums to me. I also had problems on the street. However, Italy is perhaps also the least hypocritical country.”

“My family remained in Milan, those in the stadium are minorities and I wonder why some ugly demonstrations have not been able to be eradicated,” he added.
