Sim Registration Exercise Extended - Check New Deadline Details

Many Ghanaians are yet to acquire their Ghana Card, which began on 1st October, 2021, the sole identification card for the purpose of the registration. The exercise which has been ongoing since last year was planned to be closed before March 31, 2022.

More pressure was mounted as the date drew closer. This made some dignitaries and high officials from various organizations, groups, and institutions pleaded with the ministry to do something on the closing date.

This has finally yielded good news when the ministry served public notice dated Tuesday, March 22, 2022 of date extension from now to 31st July 2022.
