So Sad: Tears Flow as SHS Teacher Commits Suicide; Leaves Three Kids, Wife and Mother

Suicide is one of the top 10 leading causes of death in Ghana. Understanding why people die by suicide or experience suicidal thoughts is complicated.

Generally, people who are suicidal feel hopeless and pessimistic about their future. Such people experience an occasional feeling of hopelessness, meaning they may get stuck on negative feelings or have recurring thoughts about death.

Feeling like you're a burden to the people in your life or like you don't belong anywhere in the world are two other powerful emotions associated with suicide.

However, according to reports, a Senior High School Tutor at the Effiduase Senior High School has reportedly committed suicide in Sekyere East District.

The professional teacher, is identify as Mr. Kwame Kodua popularly known as K.K is reported to have drank poison earlier in the morning.

Mr. Kwame Kodua was reported dead by doctors shortly after he was sent to the hospital. He died leaving three young children and a wife. Including his mother and sisters.



Additionally, in an interview with Sekyere East TV, the mother of the deceased revealed that; “his son did not show any signs of depression of anything that shows he was going through something he cannot handle. She also said Kwame Kodua did not leave any sign as to what triggered the action.”

The deceased mother sadly revealed that her son is the only person who takes care of her but now he is no more.
