Terrorists Are Already in and Have Started Marrying and Giving Birth in Ghana- Security Expert Reveals

A Security expert and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Institute for Security, Disaster and Emergency Studies, Dr. Ishmael Norman has cautioned Ghanaians that terrorists have already invaded the country and are gradually assimilating into the system.

According to Dr. Norman, “these terrorists are not now making plans to attack Ghana but have gone to the extent of marrying and giving birth in Ghana.”

Speaking in interview with TV3 on Saturday May 21, 2022 in relation to the caution given by the National Security against the potential attack on Ghana, he said; “I believe they are not just near Ghana, they are in Ghana. Some of them will even marry Ghanaian men or women. We have to assume that they are already here. The National Security warning is a good one, I believe the terrorists are already in Ghana. “

The expert added; “they send agents ahead of time to marry, familiarize and live together with people to some extent they even become citizens of the country of their target which Ghana is no different.”

Some few weeks ago, the deputy minister said this during an interview on JoyNews’ ‘The Probe’, that Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire are the only countries in the sub-region not to have experienced such terrorist attacks.

He, therefore, urged the security apparatus of Ghana to stand in readiness to avert such attacks.
We need to be vigilant. We need to really, like we say in Ghana, ‘shine our eyes the more’. Because if you look around, all the countries around Ghana, in one way or the other have been hit. We are the only country left standing.
