The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi was seen wearing a black garment while lifting the trophy on Sunday 18th after their victory over France.
However, the question may be asked what was he wearing when celebrating with his jubilant team-mates?
In case you were wondering what it was, the piece of clothing is called “Bisht.” It is a traditional men's cloak usually worn in Arab countries. It is supposed to be worn on special occasions and denotes prestige.
Interestingly enough, “Bishth” is made from camel hair and goat wool.
However, some fans weren't happy that Messi was made to wear it.
