Yendi MP Farouk Aliu Mahama Vows the E-Levy Would Be Approved by The End of March 2022

Umar Farouk Aliu Mahama is a Ghanaian politician who is a member of the New Patriotic Party. He is the member of parliament for the Yendi Constituency after winning in the 2020 parliamentary elections.

Yendi MP Farouk Aliu Mahama vows the e-levy would be approved by the end of March 2022.

Hon. Aliu Mahama during an interview with Joy News' Parker Wilson yesterday, he confidently disclosed that the controversial E-levy will be passed by the end of March and it will solve most problems of Ghanaians.

He noted; " We have an experienced finance minister who has done so well for the country. He has managed the country very well and we know E-levy will solve most of the problems of Ghanaians. We also know that Insha Allah, E-levy will be approved by Parliament by the end of March 2022."

When asked by Parker Wilson how that's possible because the majority in Parliament does not have the numbers to pass the E-levy by the end of March.

He reinstated the E-levy will pass and that, the majority will not let people know their cards. He added, the E-levy is not being passed to benefit the President but Ghanaians.

He continued; “How do you know we don't have the numbers? We don't have to let you know our cards because we are rest assured E-levy will be passed by the end of March. I am confident E-levy will be approved. The President is not passing E-levy for his benefits but the good people of Ghana."
