Meet Ashantehene, Nana Prempeh I
Asantehene Nana Prempeh I a.k.a Nana Kwaku Dua III Asamu (Ashanti King) on board a ship bound for exile in Mahe, Seychelles, 1900.
Nana Prempeh I was captured by the British in 1896 and exiled.
George Castle, Elmina, Gold Coast (Ghana) for five(5) months, in Freetown, Sierra Leone from 1897 to 1900, and in Mahe, Seychelles Islands from 1900 to 1924.
