Women in Forex: Youth encouraged to take advantage of forex trading

Women in Forex under the the Elevate Ghana Forex project has urged the youth to take advantage of the numerous employment prospects in forex trading.

According to a beneficiary of the forex training initiative, Pastor Frederick Quaicoe, the forex market is a free and large place where one can quickly generate good income from trading.

Financial analyst and president of Women In Forex Gifty Sika Annor speaking at the Love In the Market Charity Ball, an event held to raise money for training Ghanaian youth interested in forex trading noted that, in order to succeed on the forex market, one needs to be equipped with the appropriate skills.

”In Forex trading because the end game for everyone is money, there is a lot of rush and greed . People don’t know or take the time to learn the skill. They rush in there because they’ve heard there is a lot of money, but they do not know that it goes up and it comes down.

"Inasmuch as it goes up when you are wining and comes down when you are loosing, you have to master the skill, practice so much and build your psychology on the market before putting in money," she advised.



Gifty Sika Annor also added that "it is a whole academia" just like training for a profession.

Women in Forex Ghana under the Elevate Ghana Project has been training and equipping youths in various tertiary institutions in Ghana and other interested youths with the requisite skills and knowledge for trading the forex market for free.

The Women in Forex team in 2022 exceeded their free training target of 1000 trained Forex traders by 30 persons with the aim of doing better in the following years.
