Did you know Beer can be used in frying fish?

Did you know asides drinking beer with your friends as part of having fun you can actually use it in frying fish? Let's take a look at the Beer battered fish fry and how it is made

These are the ingredients you need to make beer battered fish fry:
All Purpose Flour
Beer
Garlic powder
Egg
Salt
Paprika
Fish

Garlic powder adds great flavor to the batter while the paprika gives the batter a unique flavor, and gives it a nice brown crispy look. Use as little/considerable salt to suit your taste.
Eggs are very important in making this recipe, helps create a nice texture and bind things together.
There is no specific beer brand for this recipe, you can use your preferred brand of beer, the brand doesn’t really matter.

Tilapia, Shrimp, halibut, and striped bass are some of the fishes you can use for this recipe.

Now, here is a step-by-step procedure for making the beer battered fish fry:

Add oil to a large, heavy-bottomed pot or deep fryer till it's about 2 to 3 inches deep. Heat oil to 375 degrees F.
Cut fish into desired shapes, Pat dry with a kitchen towel, and season with salt and pepper.

Whisk flour, garlic powder, paprika, and salt to make your batter. Add your lightly beaten egg and gradually whisk in your beer to have a smooth batter.

Dip the fish one after the other into the batter, and drop in hot oil. Fry until the fish gets a nice crispy brown look. (This should take about 4 minutes) Drain on a wire rack and enjoy while hot, best served with green peas, coleslaw, or fries.

If you are a zero alcohol consumption person, do not worry, the alcohol content gets cooked off during the frying process.
