56-year-old man sentenced to death for defiling his employer's granddaughter

Folarin Raufu, a 56-year-old driver, was sentenced to death for assaulting his employer's granddaughter. The man was arrested and appeared before Judge Abiola Soladoye. According to Judge Soladoye, the underage victim alleged that the defendant repeatedly defiled her.

She then informed her grandfather, who reported it to the police and the pepertrator was arrested. The defendant denied the allegations against him, but after a thorough investigation, the truth emerged.

The judge ruled that the victim's evidence was corroborated by medical reports from Mirabel Medical Center and two other prosecution witnesses. The court then found Folarin guilty of the crime and he received a death sentence.
