A 13 Years Old Boy Gets Scholarship After Suing His Father For Trying To Sell Their Family Property Three Years Ago

A young boy receives a scholarship after taking his father to court for attempting to sell the family's property and spending the money on alcohol three years ago. Anthony, a Kagera resident who is 13 years old at the time, filed a lawsuit against his father in 2018 after he attempted to sell the family's property.

The young boy asserts that his father, who was supposed to care for them, began regularly drinking alcohol after they lost their mother. He dropped out of school because they couldn't pay for his tuition.

He learned that his father was planning to sell the only property they owned while he was wandering through the house. He was aware that his father would not use the money to care of them but would instead spend it on alcohol.

By suing him, he attempted to prevent him from selling that property. Social media users who saw Anthony's video of him suing his father in court were moved by what he accomplished.

He received a scholarship and is now in sixth grade. Anthony stated that he is pleased with the scholarship he received and hopes to become a teacher in the future.
