A Male Student Poisoned Himself To Death After He Used His Tuition Fess For Sports Betting

A Polytechnic student ended his life after losing money on sports betting. Samuel Adegote who is an Electrical Electronic Engineering student at the Federal Polytechnic situated in Ilaro supposedly utilized his school fees and his companions own to stake sports bet with the expectation of earning a tremendous measure of cash on 19th May, 2023.

Tragically he loose the bet and was not having some other cash to settle the tuition fees and that of friend's own before they will write semester examination he ended it all to avoid being denied to access to write the exams.

According to the reports, Samuel poisoned himself and went unconscious, he was hurried to the school clinic but was later moved to an alternate clinic outside the school where he was pronounced dead
