I FEAR FOR THESE PEOPLE TOO - PS ERIC ARTHUR

It is true that we ought to pray for people who have never experienced the saving power of Christ while we evangelise, for God loves all and wants everyone to be saved. Equally, we need to pray for those who once experienced this saving power but have abandoned the faith for one reason or the other.
Interestingly, amongst them are people who were once either on fire for God and have tasted almost every palatable side of Christianity or believers without an aorta of doubt.
For such folks there's a danger ahead of them. Their fate is tantamount to one who has never experienced the saving power of Christ, perhaps more terrible.

I fear for them because there's nothing God can do again in bringing them back to the faith not because God is not a God of possibilities but they have rejected every possible means by which God can save and bring them unto repentance.

I fear for them too because there's nothing new required of Christ to do to save them except for what He has done already on the Cross, a complete and perfect requirement for their salvation yet they have turned their backs against it and do not acknowledge it now as before.

Fortunately/Unfortunately for them they have enjoyed it before and are no more interested, a choice with a devastating consequence. A lot of such people are in our families, homes, schools, offices, media, etc.
I fear not only for the unbeliever but I fear for the apostates too. I fear for the "former brethren" and I call that you all such beloved return quickly for Christ isn't going to die again or begin a new process of salvation. "De3 )b3 no ara na w'ay3 no". ALL is what He's done and Nothing is left to be done. Return now, come back now you all such folks. Come all you that brother/sister for I fear for you too.
