My Husband Impregnated Another Woman After We Traveled To His Hometown - A Muslim Woman Tells

A Muslim woman named Amina Karim from Tema shares how her husband impregnated another woman after they travelled to his hometown. According to the woman she married her husband Faruq many years ago. Although Faruq used part of the money they got from their marriage ceremony to opened a shop for her. But he also built a house in his hometown with the rest of the money. Few months later her father-in-law fell sick and they all travelled to his hometown to visit him.

Once they got there, the man's behavior changed. He started sleeping with around with different women and always comes home late at night. It got to a point where Faruq rented a room for one of his girlfriend which made stopped spending the night with them. He only goes home to bathe in the morning and go back to spend the rest of the day with that concubine. Amina said she was not happy about her husband's behaviour but she was unable to inform her mother-in-law because of fear.

This continued for a long time before his family found out about his actions and advised him to marry the woman as a second wife. Although he accepted his family's decision but he didn't obeyed it. Few months later she received information her husband has impregnated that woman. Amina said she passed out for several minutes before regaining her consciousness. Because of this problem, Faruq persuaded her to return to Tema whilst he stayed back to solve the problem at hand.

Amina added that she listened to him and came back with their two children but he didn't send her money to take care of the children. She has to start selling drinks in order to get money to feed the children and also provide their needs. Amina said she waited patiently for her husband to return but it seemed that he doesn't care about her again. The mother of two added that she is no longer interested in the marriage but she wants Faruq to give her a compensation of Ghc30,000 and also take care of their children
