My first child underwent numerous procedures before losing her ability to see and hear. At five years old, I lost her.

The Nollywood actress Oyedeji Olaide has made the decision to talk about how her first kid died after multiple surgeries when she was a small child.
During a recent interview, Oyedeji Olaide disclosed that she was never married to her previous spouse, as she discussed this matter with her colleague in the film industry, Biola Adebayo.

"We had Jasmine, our second child, in 2014 after I brought him to Germany in 2013." In the same year that I lost my first child, 2015, Jasmine was only six or seven months old. When I was five years and one month old, I lost my first kid. The fluid was impacted by the illness. There seemed to be an obstruction that prevented it from passing from the head to the body. Therefore, the first surgery was performed on her when she was two weeks old. They were surgically inserted into her head to act as a shunt, moving fluid from her brain to her body. Two weeks later, the shunt became blocked once more. I'm not sure how many procedures they performed on her.
She finally lost the ability to eat, hear, see, walk, crawl, sit, or move. She was literally only a day old when she turned two. She fell asleep and didn't wake up until she was five years old.
