Actor Dejumo Lewis of Nollywood passed away.


At the age of 80, the thespian, who primarily appeared in Yoruba films, passed away.


Saidi Balogun, a coworker, verified Lewis's passing on his Instagram page.


Balogun wrote, "Good night, DEJUMO LEWIS. May your soul rest in perfect peace," on the social media network.


Lewis gained notoriety for his performances in the films Crossroads, A Place in the Stars, and Power of One, but he is best remembered for his portrayal as the Kabiyesi in The Village Headmaster.


Many performers have rushed to social media to express their grief for him, despite the fact that the cause of his death is yet unknown.
