Burna Boy and DJ Khaled set a Nigerian record.

32-year-old 'Last Last' hitmaker Burna Boy is set to be the first ever Nigerian artist that American artist, record executive, and producer DJ Khaled is collaborating.

The father of 2 is set to drop his highly anticipated album and he just revealed that it has some Afro beats fusion with his music collab with the self-proclaimed African giant.

Speaking during an interview with Rolling Stone, DJ Khaled went on to dish out exciting news about his upcoming album, where he got people all excited and super eager after he mentioned he has a collaboration with Nigerian Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy.

Khaled revealed he had been feeling the vibe of Afro beats for a while now and this led him to sort out and collaborate with the 'I Told Them' crooner who is among the top global faces of Nigerian mainstream music.

The American musical genius dropped another bombshell revealing that after his forthcoming album, he'd be taking several steps from music.

According to Khaled his plan is to take a break from music then shift his focus towards other entertainment ventures, including the realm of movies.

How cool is it that Burna Boy gets to be among the 'last' artists that DJ Khaled gets to work with and it is on a high-profile album that has the likes of 'Toosie Slide' hitmaker Drake?

Burna Boy, however, isn't a newbie in the game or new to Hollywood or international collaborations. The 32-year-old has worked with several international stars such as Ed Sheeran, Future, J Balvin, J Hus, and British rapper Stormzy just to mention a few.

On his 2023 album, 'I Told Them' Burna Boy collaborated with legendary rap duo GZA and RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan. He also worked with 21 Savage and J Cole as he continues to build on his international success.

After the album dropped, DJ Khaled posted a video of himself listening to Burna Boy's 'I Told Them' while also sharing videos of the two having dinner together on his Instagram account which sparked news of a possible collaboration and as per usual fans weren't wrong with their speculations.
