"Banker kills herself in staff restroom, leaving diary for parents and siblings."

Amarachi Ugochukwu, a 32-year-old bank employee, is the subject of an investigation by the Lagos State Police Command after she allegedly committed suicide and left heartfelt notes for her parents and siblings. Reports state that Mr. Robert Hosharma, the branch manager of Globus Bank in Ikorodu, reported the issue to the police.

It was discovered that the incident happened on January 8, 2024, and that it was reported at approximately 5:00 p.m. on the same day. However, the bank manager clarified that the woman's death was discovered at approximately 1:00 pm. According to a police situation report, "Amarachi Ugochukwu, 32, a member of the bank's marketing staff, was found dead inside the staff restroom on January 8, 2024, at approximately 1:pm," according to the manager of Glo-bus Bank, Ikorodu.

The deceased Amara-chi Ugochukwu's phone was left on her table, and the complainant said further that it continued to ring without being answered.As a result, her colleagues started looking for her. While looking for her, it was discovered that one of the office restroom doors was locked from the inside. When it was forced open, there was her lifeless body along with a diary and an empty medium-sized bottle that was possibly taken by her.

The complainant added that although a doctor was consulted right away, the woman was later determined to be deceased, which is why the report was filed. Investigation and action commenced. "The corpse was removed and deposited at Ikorodu General Hospital for autopsy and preservation with the support of her family," the statement reads. Detectives arrived at the scene and took pictures.
