A Ugandan Man with 102 children, 568 grandchildren, and 12 wives STRUGGLE to keep up!

A 67-year-old farmer who has 12 wives, 102 children, and 568 grandchildren has reluctantly decided to stop having children because he cannot provide for them all on his own because of his deteriorating health and low income. The man who has 12 wives has made a promise not to have any more children since he finds it difficult to manage feeding so many people.

Musa Hasahya, 67, of Lusaka, Uganda, where polygamy is legal, has recently instructed his "child-bearing age" women to use the pill.

The father of 102 claims that due to his limited means, he cannot "tolerate bearing any more children."

He continued by saying that he had sent spouses to family planning.

Musa also advised anyone considering taking "more than four wives" to postpone getting married.

In Lusaka, Uganda, the family resides on a complex with a 12-bedroom mansion.
Musa Hasahya lives in Kampala, the capital of Uganda, in a neighborhood known as Lusaka.

In an interview with The Sun, he bemoaned that "my salary has been lower and lower over the years due to the rising expense of living and my family has become bigger and bigger."

"I won't be having any more kids. Due of my awareness of my poor financial circumstances, I am currently using birth control.

It's interesting to note that Hasahya has no regrets and would not advise against marrying numerous women, despite the crushing effects of his polygamous lifestyle that are dragging him down.

"I wed women one after the other. He questioned, "How can a man be content with one woman?

Another intriguing aspect of his narrative is how he was able to keep all of his women together in one home so that he could keep an eye on them constantly and prevent other guys from snatching them away.

"The same home is home to all of my women.

Hasahya is reported to have said, "It's simple for me to watch them and also prevent them from eloping with other guys in this village.

One of Hasahya's wives, Zulaika, who has 11 children, lamented the extreme hardships they have had to undergo due to the size of their family and insufficient income.

The family patriarch claims he can distinguish between his 102 children, but has trouble naming each of his 568 grandchildren.

Some of them he even doesn't know by name.

Musa wed Hanifa for the first time in 1971 when he was only 16 years old.

He stopped attending school after being married, and two years later, when the couple welcomed a baby girl, he became a father.

Musa was wealthy and well-liked at the time, serving as the local chariman and a recognized merchant in the neighborhood.

He made the decision to grow his family because he had the resources (land and money) to do so.
"I decided to increase the size of my family by marrying more ladies because I was able to earn something," he stated.

"Since the soils are fertile, I made sure that hoes are provided for everyone of them to plow the ground and produce enough food to maintain the family."

But now that he is having to pay for the education of every one of his children after decades of marriage and childbirth, he is turning to the government for help.

The farmer added in a statement to The Sun that "my family has grown bigger and bigger over the years due to the increased expense of life.

"I got married to women after women. How can a man be content with just one woman?

"The same home is home to all of my women. In this village, it's simple for me to keep an eye on them and prevent them from eloping with other men, Musa continued.

Such a large family may seem like a formula for catastrophe, but according to Musa, the nuclear family members generally get along.

Former spouse Hanifa stated: "He is patient and thoughtful, and he never jumps to conclusions before hearing from all the parties.
