A terrifying threat from Vladimir Putin has been issued to the UK over sales of fighter planes to Ukraine

If the UK delivers warplanes to Ukraine, the Russian Embassy in London warned that there will be "military and political implications for the European continent and the entire globe."

Regarding the UK's potential intentions to give Ukraine fighter planes to defend its nation against Russian invaders, Vladimir Putin has delivered a stark warning.

In an address to the UK parliament on Wednesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reaffirmed his demand for the airpower.

The Russian Embassy in London swiftly reacted, however, and sent a message to the British government warning that providing the warplanes would be "on London's conscience" due to the "bloodshed, next round of escalation, and subsequent military and political ramifications for the European continent and the entire globe."

Although the UK has not yet formally agreed to send the fighter planes to Ukraine, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak claimed on Wednesday that "nothing was off the table" in his talks with Zelensky.

Sending warplanes was "part of the talk," according to Mr. Sunak, who was speaking at a news conference with the president of Ukraine.

Earlier that day, Zelensky gave the House of Commons speaker a helmet from the Ukrainian air force that had been engraved by a pilot with the following words: "We are liberated. Give us wings so we can defend it."

"I plead to you and the world with simple and yet most vital words: combat aircraft for Ukraine, wings for independence," he said to peers and lawmakers in Westminster Hall.

Downing Street said that the Prime Minister has ordered Defence Secretary Ben Wallace to look into what aircraft the UK might be able to provide to Ukraine to help it fight off Russian invaders.

Without planes, the confrontation with Russia might "stagnate," according to Mr. Zelensky.

The UK was asked to provide Ukraine the "means to finish the job" of defeating the Kremlin's forces by Boris Johnson, who was prime minister at the start of the conflict and a close supporter of Mr. Zelensky.
