Avoid Disposing of Waste in Gutters to lessen Financial Burden on Sanitation Ministry - Hon. Charles Oteng

The assembly member Of Nii OkaiMan East electoral Area Hon. Charles Oteng has urged the general public to desist from littering gutters and downspouts with rubbish. Speaking to Secretnews Ghana in an interview, the honorable assembly member also added that, Ghanaians must know the importance of keeping our environment clean and tidy.

However, it also adds and reduces the burden on the government and also cuts down costs loaded on the Sanitation Ministry. He also added that paying a small amount of money to the refuse collectors contributes more money into the Coffex of the government, and that aids in many governmental developments.

In addition, he also mentioned that keeping our gutters and environments Clean, will guide us as a strong tool to fight against disease outbreaks, which could dry out our little pocket money. As well as maintaining good and strong hygienic Conditions.

Keeping our surroundings clean and tidy draws us close and easy to God in the spirit, and by doing so, we shall be free from the too alarming malaria killing incidence in the country, he added.
