Is FIFA WORLD CUP in Qatar 2022 going to be a Game of "BLOODSHED"?

Concerns have been raised over FIFA's choice in endorsing Qatar as the country to host this year's WORLD CUP. Allegedly, in a country where are so many limiting human rights, was FIFA right to host this year's world cup in Qatar? Are we to expect the safety of everyone in Qatar or will there be stories of Horror before the World cup ends? All fingers are crossed as we anticipate how this year's World Cup would go. What should you be wary of as a visitor in Qatar? | Laws in Qatar may differ significantly from those in your native country, especially when it comes to alcohol and e-cigarettes or vapes.



Visitors will only be able to purchase alcohol in licensed hotel restaurants and bars. It is expected that alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase in match supporter zones. They are not available in shops like they are in Europe and Africa, and importing alcohol into the State of Qatar is forbidden. The legal drinking age is 21 as well.



Fans have been warned to examine the country's nicotine consumption restrictions, as it is illegal to use or import e-cigarettes into the country. Vaping has been prohibited in Qatar since 2014, and violators face fines of up to 10,000 riyals (about €2,694 thus Gh¢36,931.24) or perhaps imprisonment.

In Qatar, homosexuality is outlawed, and public closeness, regardless of sexual orientation or gender, might be considered insulting. According to the World Cup host, "everyone is welcome," and there will be no limitations on friends or unmarried couples sleeping in the same hotel room.

The internationally recognized magazine TIME Magazine has reported that "Thousands of Migrant Workers Died in Qatar’s Extreme Heat preparing Qatar to Host the World Cup - and that is just the beginning!
