Nana Kweku Ofori Atta donates to Ghana Police after near Fatal Accident

A generous donation was recently made to the Accra West Divisional Motor Traffic and Transport Unit (MTTU) in Odokor, Greater Accra Region, by Nana Kweku Ofori Atta, the Chief Executive Officer of Avcontech Security Masters. This act of kindness followed a harrowing near-fatal accident at the Odokor Traffic Light on Wednesday night, which resulted in severe damage to several vehicles, including Nana Ofori Atta's own.

Despite the damage to his Toyota Camry with the registration GX 3023-23, Nana Ofori Atta decided to contribute an undisclosed sum of money to the police. The funds are earmarked for the purchase of paint to spruce up the police station's building in preparation for the Christmas season.

In an interview with Bulla The Blogger, Nana Ofori Atta expressed his commitment to enhancing the physical appearance of the police station, emphasizing that security is a shared responsibility. He noted that this donation was not his first and pledged that it would not be his last, citing previous contributions to the police and a continued desire to support them in ensuring internal security.

DSP Aboah Offei, who accepted the donation on behalf of the police, expressed gratitude for Nana Ofori Atta's generosity. He assured that the funds would be utilized for the intended purpose and extended an invitation for Nana Kweku Ofori Atta to witness the completion of the building's repainting.

The accident itself involved an articulated truck with the license plate GX 8370-21 closely tailing Nana Ofori Atta's vehicle on the N1 road from the Achimota Forest Roundabout to Ablekuma. The collision occurred at the Odokor traffic light, where the truck lost control seconds after the green light turned on, colliding with vehicles in the adjacent lane.

Narrating the incident, Nana Ofori Atta explained that the truck struck his car on the "passenger" side with such force that he lost control, narrowly escaping a potentially fatal outcome. Despite the severe damage to his vehicle, he credited his survival to divine intervention.

Nana Kweku Ofori Atta is not only the benefactor of this donation but also the Chief Executive Officer of AVCONTECH Security Masters, a reputable private security firm specializing in security gadget installations and consultations. The company offers a range of services, including access control, alarms, asset tracking, closed-circuit television (CCTV) security systems, premium air conditioners, solar panels, electric fencing, and fire prevention systems.
