Russian President Vladimir Putin has cancer likely to die very soon according to Ukraine's military intelligence

According to the head of Ukraine's military intelligence, Vladimir Putin has been terminally ill for a "very long" time and may pass very shortly.

Kyrylo Budanov, citing those close to the president, claimed that Kiev thinks the 70-year-old Russian president has cancer.

"He's been ill for a while, and I'm positive he has cancer. He will probably pass away quite shortly. I anticipate shortly, "He spoke to ABC News.

Some have argued that Putin's demise is required to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, including a US senator.

When ABC correspondent Britt Clennett remarked that Putin's death might not put a stop to the invasion, Budanov responded that the fight "should be resolved" before he passes away.

When questioned about how precisely Kyiv is aware of Putin's illness, Budanov replied: "We believe it to be cancer. We only know it because of human sources."

Since Putin's invasion of Ukraine began in February, there have been numerous rumors that the dictator is unwell, including those that he has Parkinson's disease or cancer.

According to leaked audio obtained by New Lines magazine, an oligarch with ties to the Kremlin seemed to insinuate that Putin had blood cancer and was "extremely unwell," which is where the rumors seem to have started.

A former CIA official, however, cautioned the journal that Moscow has an "instinct" to disseminate false information and that it might be doing it on purpose.

Throughout 2022, a number of images appeared that appeared to reveal track marks on Putin's hands. Some have speculated that this could indicate that Putin is receiving intravenous infusions, including a former British Army leader.

More rumors have been sparked by video footage showing Putin grabbing onto a desk in an apparent effort to stop his hands from shaking, while some have argued that "puffy" images of Putin may indicate that he is taking steroids as part of his cancer treatment.

Regarding whether the former KGB agent truly has a terminal illness, US intelligence seems to be split.
