Angela Oforiwa Alorwu-Tay is a Ghanaian politician. She is a member of parliament representing the Afadjato South Constituency in the Volta Region of Ghana and a member of the National Democratic Congress.
She is one of the nine women to have contested in the 2016 General Elections.
She obtained a BA from the University of Ghana, a Diploma from West Africa Computer Science Institute and a GCE O'level from Nkonya Secondary School.
She also has an MA in Democracy, Governance, Law & Development from the University of Cape Coast.
She won the Parliamentary seat in 2015 beating Reuben Kornu, Kafui Takyi, Eben Kay Hodo, and Susie Adobe.
She is an advocate for the gender parity issues Ghana is facing and holds the current government of Ghana to redeem its campaign promise of 30% women in its cabinet.
