Francis Abban is a Ghanaian journalist. He currently works with EIB Network's Starr FM and is the host of The Morning Starr.

Francis Abban attended Maria Montessori School at Kwadaso and the Ridge International School at Takoradi for his elementary education. He then attended the Accra Academy for his SHS education and the Ghana Institute of Journalism.

Francis tied the knot with Eunice Torto in 2016.

His career as a journalist started at Skyy FM as a volunteer journalist during which he was still a student at the Ghana Institute of Journalism.

He also worked with the Multimedia Group for five years as a co-host of Joy FM's flagship morning program the Super Morning Show. He was also the anchor of the Joy Midday News and the presenter of the news analysis program, which also aired on Joy News.

He presented BBC Two Way from 2013 to 2017, a partnership between Joy FM and the British Broadcasting Corporation to project major issues discussed during a week.

Francis joined EIB Network in 2017, as co-host of GHOne's TV News Tonight. He then replaced Nii Arday Clegg to host EIB Network's Starr FM.

In 2018 his appearance on the morning show of the radio station dubbed The Morning Starr, earned him two nominations for the annual RTP Awards where he was nominated for the Radio morning show host of the Year and the Best Radio Personality of the Greater Accra Region.
