Thomas Agyepong is a Ghanaian professional footballer. He plays as a winger for Lommel on loan from Manchester City. He also played on loan for the Dutch clubs Twente and NAC Breda, Scottish club Hibernian and Belgian club Waasland-Beveren.
He has also made six full international appearances for the Ghanaian national team.
Club careerThomas Agyepong in 2015, joined Manchester City from the Right to Dream Academy.
He made his debut on October 4th as a substitute in a 3–1 loss to AZ Alkmaar and was also loaned to Eredivisie team FC Twente for the 2015–16 Eredivisie season.
On October 24th his first set came out in a 3–1 loss to PSV Eindhoven playing 62 minutes. He suffered a shoulder injury that required surgery which eventually led to the end of his season.
Thomas Agyapong signed on loan with NAC Breda for the 2016–17 season on 10th July 2016. He made his debut on 12th August, playing 61 minutes in a 2–1 win over Achilles '29. He scored his first goal on December 2nd in the 92nd minute of a 3–1 win over Almere City.
He joined Scottish Premiership club Hibernian on loan in August 2018, untill the end of the 2018–19 season pending approval of a work permit application. He suffered a knee injury and therefore missed a lot of the 2018–19 season.
He was also loaned in August 2019 to Belgian First Division A club Waasland-Beveren until the end of the 2019–20 season.
Thomas Agyepong and teammate Aminu Mohammed joined Belgian First Division B side, Lommel, on loan until the end of the 2020–21 season. Lommel is owned by City Football Group.
International careerThomas Agyepong made his debut for the Ghana national team in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualification in a 5–0 over Ethiopia on 11 June 2017.
