The Accra Circuit Court has granted bail to evangelist Patricia Asiedua an Oduro, commonly known as Nana Agradaa 9.
The accused was given bail of $50,000 with three sureties who must be civil servants and make at least $2,000 a month, according to presiding judge Samuel Bright Acquah. She must also appear every Wednesday before the prosecutor.
Despite this development, the former priestess will remain in police prison while Circuit Court 10 hears similar charges against her.
After being somber during the hearing, the founder of Heaven Way Champion International Ministry, who is also celebrating her birthday today, appeared somewhat happier.
Six counts of defrauding by false pretense and charlatanry are brought against her.
