Iyanya discussed his experiences from his relationship with Yvonne Nelson in an interview on GhOne's Toast. He said that their relationship was really lovely and emphasized that Yvonne Nelson was alluring and hard to refuse.

"We were in a committed relationship. We had a really special relationship since she was my girl. It becomes addictive and you find yourself absolutely engrossed in it when you're with her", Iyanya said.


The Nigerian artist spoke of how deeply connected they were, saying that it was so significant that he got Yvonne Nelson's name tattooed on his arm. He also mentioned that they had made plans for the future.

"Yes, I had planned to spend the rest of my life with Yvonne Nelson, and I thought she was the one. I got her name tattooed on my arm because of this. However, I no longer possess it because I have an other item in its stead. However, it was a lovely experience," Iyanya said.
