We sincerely Apologize For Any Inconvenience Caused During Our Artiste Night – UCC SRC to Student Body, Kidi and Medikal

"We would like to express our sincere apologies for any disruption during our Artiste Night. One of Ghana's and Africa's best-known universities, the University of Cape Coast (UCC), has officially apologized for the problems on October 8, 2022"

The 59th SRC week at the University of Cape Coast, which ran from October 2 through October 8, 2022, was celebrated. Both the popular Ghanaian musician Kidi and the Ghanaian rapper Amg Medikal were slated to play.

"These famous performers were there, but they couldn't perform that night"

"In a popular video, Kidi could be seen performing on stage but his microphone was broken, preventing him from entertaining his UCC fans"

"This became a topic of discussion on the national news a day after the awful catastrophe. On October 10, 2022, the University of Cape Coast SRC released a press release to acknowledge the unfortunate incident that had happened"

In their press release, they made it clear that the issues were brought on by power surges that interfered with their sound system and they profusely apologize for the inconvenience.
