A/R: His Royal Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu II Introduce An Initiative To Give Komfo Anokye Teaching Hosputal A Facelift.

The King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has launched an initiative to give a facelift to the dilapidated structure of the 69-year-old Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

The project which was launched on Friday, November 10, 2023, is intended to mobilise US$10 million for the renovation of the hospital.

In attendance were the King himself, traditional rulers, market women, legislators, lawyers, actors and actresses, corporate institutions, religious bodies and others.

Bill Asamoah, Samuel Nyamekye, Nana Ama McBrown, Akrobeto, Akaebenezer, and other Kumawood stars pledge their support to the 'Heal Komfo Anokye' project.
